Hifive First Class Bucks POAC 2003 Chestnut Few Spot Gelding Santee Skip N Doll POAC 55 1/2 " (13.3 1/2hands tall) Click on the names of his sire and dam for more information. Hifive First Class Bucks is a 2003 chestnut few spot gelding – 35 ½” at birth - friendly and very handsome fellow. Classy!! Athletic with great breeding. Started using Parelli Natural Horse-man-ship so should be the equivalent of a Level 1, at least. His dam, Santee Skip N Doll, is by Skip N Choice (a Wiescamp bred stallion) and her dam is Santee Super Doll, champion of the Select Sire Filly Futurity. Skip N Doll is also a 3/4 sister to Santee Skips Hope that was the 1997 International Grand Champion mare. This colt's refined head is not an accident as both his sire and dam have beautiful heads. His sire has produced several Regional and International class winners in the USA. First Class Bucks' full sister, Hifive Skip On Bucks, was shown as a yearling and placed 4th in the In Hand Trail Class at the International Futurity in Des Moines, Iowa. He is a very good-looking young gelding and is also very athletic and will be a good size for any rider. His trainer described him as being fun to ride. First Class Bucks was shown at the 2005 Futurity in Des Moines, Iowa and placed 7th in Two Year Old In-Hand Trail - first time shown at a big show. In 2006 at the International Futurity, he won the reining class, and was 7th in 3/4 Year Old Trail and Halter.

Hifive Supreme Bucks is a 2001 chestnut with a blanket gelding - blaze two hind socks and a partial front sock. Good looking guy with a quiet, easy going disposition. His trainer said that he was naturally slow gaited and used his hindquarters well when he moved, got his leads well and was a good stopper. She found him to be consistent in his disposition. He was started and trained using Parelli Natural Horsemanship techniques. He was shown at the 2005 International Futurity in Des Moines, Iowa and was second in the first go of reining, but oops not enough spins in the second go so placed 5th overall, but he performed just as well the second day as the first. He also placed 4th in the JPFC Trail for 3/4 Year Olds. His dam, Santee Scooter Supreme was always one of our favorites and is the dam of: Santee Fancy, Santee Fashion, Santee Tardy (grand champion gelding), Santee St. Supreme (1995 International Reserve Champion 3 year old stallion), Santee Scooter Bug (1986 gelding that was an International winner, Wisconsin State futurity champion in both English and Western, state 4-H champion), Santee St. Scooter (Standing in Alabama), Santee Scoot, and Santee Atlas and granddam to JKA Supreme Scooter - sire of several top ten placers in the Select Sire Futurity. His sire, Driftwoods Mega Bucks, has produced Regional, Hi Point, Eastern Classic and International winners. Supreme Bucks will be a good size for the older youth rider. Click on Mega Bucks' name above to find out about his sire and his siblings. Started using Parelli Natural Horse-man-ship. |

Driftwoods Mucho Grande POAC 1996 Roan snowcap gelding x Driftwoods Gojetum POAC Click on his sire's name for more information.
Mucho measures about 55" (13.3 hands) tall. We purchased Mucho from Ray Pietz in Iowa when he was a yearling and then had him started under saddle as a two year old. After 5 weeks of training, our son who was eleven years old at the time started riding Mucho and rode him in lessons for a couple of years. Then Mucho had about 5 weeks of reining training with Guy Robertson who is on Team Canada Reining Team. For at least two more years our son then rode Mucho in reining lessons under the direction of Guy Robertson. Mucho also was in two Level One Pat Parelli Natural Horsemanship clinics and was shown at a few local shows and did a fair bit of trail riding. Our son is now in university and does not have time to ride Mucho so this past winter Mucho has been used as a lesson horse for beginner riders. He likes to go slow and has a very smooth, slow trot that is easy to ride. He has always been a good minded horse with a natural curiosity. We are very pleased that Mucho has gone to a show home in Alberta. Thank you, Wendy, and good luck at the shows, Jordan!! Jordan and Mucho were 2006 Alberta North Branch Reserve Champions in Beginner Youth Reining |

Pappy is small, but he is mighty. Terrific muscling and a really refined head - big eye with black surrounding his eye and tiny ears. He also has big black spots and some of them have halos around them making him very eye catching. His dam, Santee Skip N Doll, is by Skip N Choice (a Wiescamp bred stallion) and her dam is Santee Super Doll, champion of the Select Sire Filly Futurity. Skip N Doll is also a 3/4 sister to Santee Skips Hope that was the 1997 International Grand Champion mare and to Santee Skip Mine - dam of Santee Marshall. Pappy has had lots of ground work done - has been lunged on line and at liberty in a round pen. He's jumped barrels on line and been ridden some. Now he needs someone to take him further in his training so he can become a driving pony or halter gelding. Started using Parelli Natural Horse-man-ship.

Top Cat was born on August 6, 2003. He is a duplicate of his older full brother, Hifive Star Bucks, that was stared in jumping and showed a real desire to jump. This gelding would make a great driving pony or jumping pony or open show pony if he doesn't color. Top Cat has athletic ability and a people friendly nature. Mega Bucks and Red Kit always produce such balanced foals. Gorgeous dark sorrel color like his mother with a really cute head. He has a full brother that is a stallion in Georgia and a full sister that is in Missouri. His dam is a granddaughter of Tough Plaudit POAC Hall of Fame and Premier Sire and Richland's Pole Kitty POAC Hall of Fame and Premier Dam and producer of 3 Supreme Champions. Top Cat's sire, Driftwoods Mega Bucks has produced POAC International and Regional Winners, Hi Point JPFC, a Supreme Champion and Eastern Classic Winners, too. He should mature about 53". Top Cat has had some ground work done with him and is ready to go on and be started under saddle. |

Driftwoods Mega Bucks and Kid O Tough give this colt the bloodlines to be a great performer and he is a good looker with his chestnut coloring and lacy blanket. Kid O Tough is a leading sire in the POA breed and is a 2001 POAC Hall of Fame Inductee - has proven to be a great western pleasure sire and has sired a number of performance POAs that are International Show Champions or International Show Champion producers such as: The Crimson Kid (winner of the McLaren Futurity and the Lewis Futurity at the 2004 International Show), KBC Nifty Kid, The Crisco Kid, Jag, CR Star Kid, Boots Scootin Bounce, Docs Ruff N Tough, JBJ’s Step Aside Boys, Picabo Street, Touch O Velvet, and Kids Double Sweet to name but a few. He is a good natured gelding that would make a great 8 and under performance POA. He should have the athletic ability to do it all. He should mature to be a medium POA. Hot Shot Kid has been started under saddle and his new owners are very pleased with his disposition and his way of going. An AQHA trainer told them after he had watched Hot Shot Kid at an all breed show that he was happy that Hot Shot Kid was only 51" tall so he wouldn't have to compete against him in western pleasure. He is being handled daily by a three year old boy who leads him all over and takes him to the wash rack and gives him a bath. He has that million dollar disposition! |
