Rare black few spot colt with class!!

Looks a lot like his sire with the same gorgeous head which he should pass on because both his sire and dam have great heads. He foaled the early part of July so he's not really filled out in these pictures, but he has great lines and should be a winner.  He measured 41 1/2" in January, 2008.  He goes back to the famous Prince Plaudit 6 times.

Hifive Little Buckaroo POAC
Driftwoods Mega Bucks POAC

X Santee Red Kit POAC

For more information on his sire and dam click on their names.

Hifive Little Buckaroo is a 2001 chestnut roan gelding that is really well balanced with a classic head and level head carriage. He has horse movement in a smaller package - will probably mature around 53" so will be a good size for young children. This little guy is very methodical about what he does - never hurries, just takes his time and checks everything out - loads of personality and a quiet disposition. He is a full brother to Bucks Aristocat (a stallion in Georgia), Star Bucks, Bucks Sophisticat (now in Missouri) , and Bucks Miss Kitty.  Started using Parelli Natural Horse-man-ship techniques.

Sold to Saskatchewan.

Thank you, Dorothy.

Hifive Mystery Man POAC

2001 leopard gelding  54 3/4 "

Hifive Bucks Aristocat POAC

x Duallys Rosette POAC

Hifive Mystery Man is friendly and good looking with great breeding, too – grandson of Dual Plaudit (sire of 5 International Halter Winners), Driftwoods Mega Bucks (sire of Regional, Hi Point, Eastern Classic, International class winners and a Supreme Champion), and great grandson of Tough Plaudit (Premier Sire and POAC Hall of Fame), Double Shot, and Richlands Pole Kitty (Premier Dam and POAC Hall of Fame, and dam of three Supreme Champions).  He is a half brother to HIS Skippa Dually that was shown quite successfully as a yearling.  Should make a great addition to anyone’s family. Mystery Man has been started under saddle and can do flying lead changes and has a nice soft jog.  He has been started over cross rails. His trainer says that he is curious and brave and the young 13 year old girl that has been riding him at the trainers says that he is fun. He is just waiting for someone to take him home, love him, and ride him.  Shown here with our 16 year old son who quite enjoys riding him and says that he thinks Mystery Man will be the baby sitter kind of pony with more time and miles.  Started using Parelli Natural Horse-man-ship.

Driftwoods Mucho Grande  POAC

1996 Roan snowcap gelding
Driftwoods Mega Bucks POAC

x Driftwoods Gojetum POAC

Click on his sire's name for more information.

Mucho measures about 55" (13.3 hands) tall.  We purchased Mucho from Ray Pietz in Iowa when he was a yearling and then had him started under saddle as a two year old.  After 5 weeks of training, our son who was eleven years old at the time started riding Mucho and rode him in lessons for a couple of years.  Then Mucho had about 5 weeks of reining training with Guy Robertson who is on Team Canada Reining Team.  For at least two more years our son then rode Mucho in reining lessons under the direction of Guy Robertson.  Mucho also was in two Level One Pat Parelli Natural Horsemanship clinics and was shown at a few local shows and did a fair bit of trail riding. Our son is now in university and does not have time to ride Mucho so this past winter Mucho has been used as a lesson horse for beginner riders.  He likes to go slow and has a very smooth, slow trot that is easy to ride. He has always been a good minded horse with a natural curiosity.

We are very pleased that Mucho has gone to a show home in Alberta.

Thank you, Wendy, and good luck

at the shows, Jordan!!

Mucho is a full brother to

Driftwoods Montego Bay

that has been very successfully shown

in the shows in the USA

(See Mega Bucks' Offspring page

many accomplishments).

Mucho is also a half brother to

Driftwoods Tough Miss Ray -

dam of Docs Skippin Zippo -

Mega Bucks Profile page

under grandget of Mega Bucks and

a half brother to Driftwoods Dixie,

a mare that also has been

successfully shown.

Jordan and Mucho were

2006 Alberta North Branch Reserve Champions in Beginner Youth Reining

Driftwoods Mega Bucks and Kid O Tough give this colt the bloodlines to be a great performer and he is a good looker with his chestnut coloring and lacy blanket.  Kid O Tough is a leading sire in the POA breed and is a 2001 POAC Hall of Fame Inductee - has proven to be a great western pleasure sire and has sired a number of performance POAs that are International Show Champions or International Show Champion producers such as:  The Crimson Kid (winner of the McLaren Futurity and the Lewis Futurity at the 2004 International Show), KBC Nifty Kid, The Crisco Kid, Jag, CR Star Kid, Boots Scootin Bounce, Docs Ruff N Tough, JBJ’s Step Aside Boys, Picabo Street, Touch O Velvet, and Kids Double Sweet to name but a few.   He is a good natured gelding that would make a great 8 and under performance POA.  He should have the athletic ability to do it all.  He should mature to be a medium POA.   Hot Shot Kid has been started under saddle and his new owners are very pleased with his disposition and his way of going.  An AQHA trainer told them after he had watched Hot Shot Kid at an all breed show that he was happy that Hot Shot Kid was only 51" tall so he wouldn't have to compete against him in western pleasure.

He is being handled daily by a three year old boy who leads him all over and takes him to the wash rack and gives him a bath.  He has that million dollar disposition!

Hot Shot Kid is a great kid's pony and is being ridden and loved by a 4 year old boy. Grandma says they are best buddies.

Hifive Fancy Bucks is a 2003 chestnut with blanket filly – a striking filly with the classic Mega Bucks look and just waiting to blossom – should be around 52” at maturity.   Her dam is by Dual Plaudit and goes back to Prince Shannon, ApHC Hall of Fame sire, on her dam's side. Fancy Bucks is indeed flashy with her 3 white socks, blanket and blaze.  She should get noticed in the show ring.  She has been started under saddle and has about a three months training.  The trainer says that she is very smooth to ride.  Fancy Bucks was started using Parelli Natural Horse-man-ship.  The trainer said that she is very curious, so willing to do whatever is asked of her, and has been started over small 18" jumps.  Her three quarter brother is being ridden by a youth and she is having a great time with him - taking him to shows, trail riding, going up to the store for ice cream and swimming in the lake.  She loves him dearly.

This is a great filly.  Her mother is a bay few spot (but mostly black) by Campbells Zippo, sire of several well known POAs including Campbells Dreamcatcher (2001 International Grand Champion Stallion, Supreme Champion, and sire of Regional, World and International winners) and Campbells Dream Maker (World and International Champion Stallion, ROM in halter, High Point Large Stallion in the Nation in 2004, High Point Most Colorful Stallion in the Nation in 2004 and performs as well), and Zip N Gold (two times World Champion Stallion and sire of several top POAs).

Zippo Flick is also the granddaughter of Tough Plaudit - Premier sire and in the POAC Hall of Fame. When you combine these halter qualities with the good looks and performance ability of Driftwoods Mega Bucks, this filly should be hard to beat.  She should also be a good size for any rider.

Bucks Miss Zip was shown in Halter, In-Hand Trail, and Longe Line at the 2006 International Futurity in Des Moines, Iowa in October and was sold at the International Sale. She was shown the following weekend in Indiana and placed 3rd in In-Hand Trail and 3rd in longe line.

Red Flick has done it again!!  This is a beautiful filly with  a doll head and great eye appeal.  She is also a granddaughter of Tough Plaudit - Premier Sire and POAC Hall of Fame. Red Flick is an easy going mare with a really nice way of moving.  This filly's sire is our black few spot stallion, Pistol Packin Dually, that goes back to the famous Prince Plaudit 5x.  Her full sister, Hifive Windsong Flicka, placed 8th out of 38 in yearling longe line at the International Futurity in Des Moines, Iowa in 2004. Her full brother, Hifive Pistol Smoke, is now in Wisconsin where he was shown: Reserve Junior Stallion at his first show and earned 3 blues in Yearling Colt and a Reserve Junior Champion and Reserve Grand, and was 5th in most colorful out of 11 ponies at his second show. This filly should follow in her older siblings' footsteps!
