Hifive Satin Bucks 1999 chestnut with blanket mare - about 55" Santee Scooter Supreme Click on any underlined names to find more information. Satin Bucks was bred and raised on our farm. She was retained as a broodmare because we really liked her body style and her way of moving. Her sire, Driftwoods Mega Bucks, has produced POA International, JPFC Hi-Point, Eastern Classic and Regional class winners and a Supreme Champion.. Her dam, Santee Scooter Supreme was always one of our favorites and is the dam of: Santee Fancy (dam of JKA Supreme Scooter - Sire of International, World and Select Sire Champions), Santee Fashion, Santee Tardy (grand champion gelding), Santee St. Supreme 1995 International Reserve Champion 3 year old stallion, Santee Scooter Bug gelding that was an International winner, Wisconsin State futurity champion in both English and Western, state 4-H champion and had several top ten placings at the 2006 and 2007 Inernational Show in Lake St. Louis, Missouri - 3rd in Open Costume Boys 18 & under, 5th in English Pleasure Boys 9-12, 10th in Flags 9-12, 10th in Handy Horse 9-12, 7th in Stock Seat Equitation 9-12, 4th in Bareback Equitation 9-12 Boys, 3rd in Huntseat Equitation 9-12 Boys, 5th in Showmanship 9-12, 3rd High Point Pony/Rider 9-12 Boys, Santee St. Scooter, Santee Scoot, and Santee Atlas and granddam to: JKA Supreme Scooter, a stallion that has produced a number of top ten placings in the Select Sire Futurity over the years. Satin Bucks was bred to Kid O Tough to produce a chestnut blanketed colt in 2004 named Hifive Hot Shot Kid. Kid O Tough is a leading sire in the POA breed and a 2001 POAC Hall of Fame Inductee - has proven to be a great western pleasure sire and has sired a number of performance POAs that are International Show Champions or International Show Champion producers such as: The Crimson Kid (winner of the McLarenFuturity and the Lewis Futurity at the 2004 International Show), KBC Nifty Kid, The Crisco Kid, Jag, CR Star Kid, Boots Scootin Bounce, Docs Ruff N Tough, JBJ's Step Aside Boys, Picabo Street, Touch O Velvet, and Kids Double Sweet to name but a few. We were anticipating that the Driftwood's Mega Bucks and Kid O Tough cross would produce wonderful performance POAs and Hifive Hot Shot Kid has proven that assumption to be true as he has been easy to train and an exceptional mover. He is now a four year old boys best friend. In 2005 Satin Bucks had a very cute grulla or silver dapple snowcap colt by Pistol Packin Dually named Hi Ho Pistol. In 2007 she had a very pretty blanketed filly by Terrific Chip ApHC named Hifive Satin Chip. |
